Remember that scene in Sex and The City where Charlotte tells Carrie you only get two great loves in your life? I always agreed with that theory, probably because I found my two great loves early on: wine and the beach.
A few weeks ago, I floated the idea of a giveaway on Instagram to celebrate reaching 2,000 followers (which I’m still so thrilled about—thank you, thank you!). I offered two giveaway themes to vote on: wine or the beach.
This reader poll obviously meant a lot to me because I can’t even remember which option won, but it doesn’t matter because I came across the most amazing giveaway prize that combines my two great loves perfectly: the folding wine table from Hoffmaster Woodworks.
As soon as I saw this table I knew I had to have one. Er, I mean, had to have one to give away! Okay, fine, I ordered two: one for the lucky winner and one to keep for myself. When I told them about the giveaway I had in mind, Hoffmaster’s owners Matthew and Kristi were generous enough to offer me a discount on my purchase. Thank you, Matthew and Kristi!
This nifty little table sticks in the ground and keeps your wine glasses upright and sand-free. It also holds the wine bottle so your next pour is always within easy reach. When you’re done, grab it by the handle, fold it flat and slide it into your beach bag.
I was surprised how lightweight yet sturdy it is; not once did I feel like it was about to topple over like some of those chintzy plastic wine glass holders do.
Aside from being a wine enthusiast’s dream, I also love this table for another reason. It was handmade by by Hoffmaster Woodworks, a husband and wife entrepreneurial team based in the Carolinas. I love supporting people who are making a living doing what they’re passionate about!
